SANCTUARY RETREAT SAFARI
Too much noise and stress in your life, the last thing the two of you need is more of the same on vacation, Get a Multi Country Ultra Luxury retreat on African safari

DAY 1
NAIROBI, KENYA

Upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to Ngong House, an idyllically peaceful retreat with beautiful views of the Ngong Hills, just outside Nairobi with delightful accommodation in tree houses and spaced across 10 acres of lush tropical gardens. Ngong House is a special oasis offering a unique introduction to your African safari.

Overnight: Ngong House

DAYS 2 and 3
MASAI MARA, KENYA

After a delicious breakfast beneath the indigenous trees of Ngong House, you will be transferred to Wilson airport for your flight to the Masai Mara. This world famous reserve is renowned for its abundance and diversity of wildlife and your stay here could well be rewarded with sightings of the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. The Mara is also the seasonal location of Africa's most awe-inspiring wildlife event – the annual wildebeest migration, typically during the months of July through October, but never predictable!

From the airstrip in the Mara, you will be met and transferred to Olonana, a luxury camp idyllically nestled in the heart of Kenya's big game country and our base for the next two nights. Olonana extends a service and style reminiscent of the romantic safari era at the turn of the century, and comprises of just 12 spacious en suite tented pavilions immediately on the banks of the Mara River.

After some time to settle in, you may enjoy lunch on the banks of the Mara River, perhaps watching the resident pod of hippos before taking an afternoon game viewing drive. You need not venture far when you may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion and a great variety of plains game such as impala, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles and an amazing diversity of eco-systems from grasslands to forests, kopjes to riverbeds.

A wide range of exciting activities are offered at Olonana including bush/tracking walks, Masai naturalist walks, visits to the nearby Masai engang (village), picnic lunches, sundowners, bush dinners, night game drives and daytime game drives in this magnificent savannah country of endless vistas, acacia trees and some of the finest game in the world. On one of your mornings here you may opt to take one of the optional excursions - either a ride in a hot air balloon or perhaps a flight to the second largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Victoria, for a fishing trip. The pace of your safari is set by your desires—it can be as active or leisurely as you choose.

2 Overnights: Olonana

DAYS 4
NGORONGORO, TANZANIA

After breakfast at Olonana, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Tanzania via Nairobi where our representatives will be on hand to help you with formalities and connections. On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will again be assisted to  take a short flight across the Rift Valley to Ngorongoro from where you will embark on a short, picturesque drive to Ngorongoro Crater, stopping for lunch en route at Gibbs Farm. Your home for the next two nights will be your private camp in Ngorongoro or alternatively, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8300 sq km, of which the renowned Ngorongoro Crater only makes up about 3% - equal to approximately 260 sq km. Its centerpiece, the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, and the first sight of it is truly breathtaking. The floor of the crater is home to a year round population of varied wildlife, including the almost extinct black rhino, and our game drives in this wildlife amphitheatre are without comparison, thanks to the high animal densities and careful management by the authorities. The balance of today and the full day tomorrow can be spent exploring the Crater—perhaps you will be lucky and witness nature in action with a lion hunting its prey!

1 Overnights: Ngorongoro Luxury Camp or Crater Lodge

DAYS 5 and 6
SERENGETI, TANZANIA

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, arriving in time for lunch at Kusini camp. The Serengeti needs little introduction, perhaps representing the best-known game sanctuary on earth. The endless plains spread over an area of 14,763 square kilometers interspersed with kopjes, the proverbial "islands in seas of grass" and is home to the greatest natural spectacle on earth, the great annual migration of over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle.

Perched on a rock kopje in its own private corner of the Serengeti, Kusini offers a "country house under canvas" elegance, a blend of modern safari style with the home comforts that once made the camps of the pioneers and early safari-goers so alluring. Remote and exclusive, Kusini Camp is far from the main circuit and perfectly placed for undisturbed viewing of the most dramatic natural spectacle, when the wildebeest herds move south across the predator-rich plains to the birthing grounds of the Naabi and the Moru kopjes. Throughout the year, the camp is graced with the presence of resident game, including the 'big five', which are drawn daily to the waterhole.

Your time here will be spent following the game and their attendant predators on their daily rounds of pursuit and survival, guided by the resident guides in specially designed 4WD vehicles. We recommend that you add an additional day if you would like to have longer during the migration time.
